Purchase Agreement & Health Guarantee
Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee
Furever Friends is committed to providing new puppy owners with a happy, healthy companion. We maintain the best vaccination protocol, socialization time, clean living quarters and a happy environment for our dogs and puppies. We do this so the puppy you purchase is guaranteed to be in good health at the time he/she transfers from our home to yours.
Prior to going home our puppies are vaccinated against the following:
Parainfluenza, Distemper, Parvovirus, Adenovirus
Our puppies are also dewormed weekly from birth to 7 weeks.
Your new puppy is guaranteed against disease for up to five (5) days beyond the date the puppy is taken home. Once the purchase is complete and the date of arrival of your new puppy has been set, contact your local veterinarian to schedule an appointment for your puppy, as he/she MUST be examined within five(5) days of their arrival home for this guarantee to be valid. If the veterinarian finds abnormal results in the exam (apart from any issue/illness made known to the new owner at the time of the purchase), then Furever Friends MUST be notified immediately and copies of the vet report will be required at that time. After this information is obtained, Furever Friends will offer a reimbursement or solution, based on the veterinarian's findings. In the case of the puppies death within the five (5) day period, an autopsy must be arranged and paid for by the new owner, and results must be submitted to Furever Friends before further action will be taken. The buyer is required to take their new puppy to the veterinarian at twelve(12) and sixteen(16) weeks to receive their booster shots. Furever Friends requires that you keep your new puppy in your home with you, avoiding outdoor time and socialization with other pets for five(5) days after their arrival to ensure the validity of this guarantee.
Your new puppy is also guaranteed for up to, and no more than one (1) year from the date of purchase against major genetic defects affecting the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc. If a certified veterinarian determines the puppy has a serious genetic illness, Furever Friends must be notified and proper documentation reflecting their findings will be required from the veterinarian. Once this is received and reviewed, the buyer will have the option to send the puppy back in exchange for another puppy of equal or lesser value (with the understanding that there may be a waiting time, if Furever Friends doesn't have any available puppies at the time), or a reimbursement will be provided (whether in part or full) at the discretion of Furever Friends. The buyer will be responsible for all costs of returning a puppy. At no time will your credit exceed the price of your puppy. Furever Friends will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills you incur with your new puppy.
Furever Friends will not assume any responsibility once the puppy leaves our premises for any medical expenses, death, allergies, training difficulties, behavioral issues, coat, color, conformation, etc.; though we are dedicated to the well being of our puppies both before and after it goes to its new home.
Hip and elbow Dysplasia's are only warrantied in the case that a surgeon is required and diagnosed with OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) clarification.
Color of hair, hair texture and length are NOT guaranteed. These change with time and age.
Size is NOT guaranteed. It is not possible to know exactly what size a puppy will be when it is grown. Any indications of size are an estimate based on the size of the parents, and can change depending on a lot of other variables. We provide an estimate that is based only on our experiences, but we will not guarantee the predicted size of the puppy. Much of its size is based on his/her lifestyle with its new owner, including the amount of exercise it gets and the food he/she eats.
Any Litigation resulting from the sale/purchase of a puppy can only be heard in the courts of the State of Oklahoma.
This guarantee DOES NOT INCLUDE the following, as puppies can contract things during travel: Cold/Upper Respiratory infections, Parasites, Coccidia, Giardia, other minor illness.
